There is no export framing, even though the framing tool is there, but it works as arelative size, I cant say it to be a certain number of pixels but rather relative to the whole image. What seems to be missing from my workflow compared to LR is editable retouch tools - if I'm not mistaken there is no history log neither the access to any particular retouch point - therefore any modifications are not possible, they can only be wiped out all at once. I did try out the latest version 2017.5 and generally speaking it seems to be getting better (I even skipped earlier versions to try them out). Indeed, it rather takes a very long time to export a single file.

Develop and effects all seem to work well although I havent really gone into the nitty gritty to see whatever bugs might still be there. Speed of browsing and stability now seem fine. There has obviously been a massive improvement since then. I come from a slightly different perspective in that before, the only time I had tried it, was when it was first released.

But don't take my word for it, download your own trial version - you have 30 days to explore. So, while they paraded the launch of the new product with Lens Correction (not working properly), Sharpening/NR panel (not working properly), Clone (I think it is working), Image compare (working) at the expense of speed and stability, I think the release is a step backwards. Also, the new Sharpening/NR panel is running slowly and ineffectively. It runs slower, files take longer to load, it switches between modules less quickly, I'm having trouble with the crop tool hanging, and the Lens Correction panel isn't working correctly. As an admitted "fanboy", I am troubled to see another "beta" product.

It seems 10.5 is quite a major update / "upgrade". I'm following the On1 Photo Raw saga since the launch, i installed it and tried a couple of updated versions, but i did not find it particularly compelling.
